New family blog.
July 15, 2008
Tim has taken it upon himself to start a new blog for us since I can’t seem to update mine on a regular basis. I’ll probably quit posting here, so if you visit my blog regularly…start going here instead.
Frustration…
June 18, 2008
On our way to Washington DC Monday I called Verizon for the millionth time to try to get our DSL/phone bill straightened out. It’s been a huge ordeal since we live in a new construction area and they are just starting to provide service there. After approximately 84 minutes of talking to a representative and being on hold, my cell phone lost signal and we were disconnected.
Of course there is no direct line to call the same person back. And trying to explain our situation to a new representative every time is quite a challenge. Ms. Malcom (or whatever you said your name was), I know you have my number on file, why didn’t you call me back?!?
I’m not sure when, if ever, I will try to get back in touch with them. It takes 13 minutes to get through the automated prompts at the beginning of the call.
Verizon, please do something different. I need to talk to you!!
Almost 26 weeks.
June 10, 2008
Tomorrow I will be 26 weeks pregnant! I’ve only had one freak out about how fast the due date is approaching and how I don’t feel quite so prepared. Even though we are. I guess
I feel the baby move and turn and kick on a consistent basis now. Pretty weird.
I still feel really good. My current symptoms are:
1. I use the bathroom 27 times a day.
2. If I let myself get too hungry, I usually start crying.
We signed Ruby up for some individual obedience training, so hopefully she will be under control by the time the baby gets here…and Tim is building a fence in the backyard so she’ll have a place to go out and play. That’ll be nice.
Other than that things are pretty normal around here. I am LOVING my new job. Looking forward to going to Missouri for the 4th!!
Adios.

This is a link to my husband’s blog.
If you are one of the few people in the world who work with a Google Search Appliance (GSA) you may find the blog informative and totally awesome. Otherwise, it will bore you to death!
Enjoy!

Neglect.
May 13, 2008
I really have neglected my blog lately. Sorry bout that. Things around here are pretty good. The pregnancy is good, I am 22 weeks along now. I have gone a little crazy buying baby girl clothes! They are irresistible. I am off all week before I start my new job on the 19th, so I am getting lots of stuff done and pretending to be a house wife. It’s quite nice.
Ruby is over 6 months old now. Here is a picture I took of her today.

News…
May 1, 2008
Last night we bought baby furniture and Tim had it all put together in about 30-45 minutes. Such a handy man. I am getting more and more excited! Next, we’ll order the bedding and then paint the room. Little Reese is going to LOVE it! I’ll post pictures as soon as it is all finished. (Which will probably be a while).
I accepted a job offer this week that I could not be more excited about!! If you know me and want the details (which you’ve probably already gotten) just call and I’ll fill you in. I don’t like to talk alot about my professional life on the blog. I’m sooo professional, you know.
Tim’s friend Jon and his wife had a baby girl last night. “Name TBD” and Reese can be best friends! They will be about 4 months apart. Yep, like me and Steph.
Losing my mind…again.
April 25, 2008
I have a couple more stories about how pregnancy is causing me to lose my mind.
1. Last Tuesday night Tim and I were watching Big Brother, as usual. On the show they were competing for the Power of Veto. In the challenge there were bales of hay set up as an obstacle that they had to jump over. Anyway, Ryan ended up winning the challenge and my response was…”He won because he was flying over those hale bays.” I didn’t even realize that I had said anything wrong and Tim started cracking up saying..”Hale bays! ha ha you said hale bays.” Then I went on to say (as serious as ever)…”Ha Ha what I meant was bays of hale.” Then I realized that I had messed it all up once again and we started rolling laughing. I could not get that phrase right. But now I can say it… Hay bales and bales of hay!!! My goodness, my brain really wasn’t working. I am cracking up again just thinking about it.
2. Last night Tristan went with me to Little Cesar’s to pick up a pizza for dinner. We went through the drive through and I ordered a pizza and breadsticks. We paid and left. We pulled up back at home and I realized that we had gone to Little Cesar’s and paid for the pizza and breaksticks, but I had driven off without the pizza and breadsticks. So Tristan got back in the car and we headed back to LC. She thought it was so funny she had to call and tell her dad what a genius I am and why we had just pulled up at the house and were leaving again immediately.
Until next time…
It’s a girl.
April 24, 2008
We found out this morning that we’re having a girl! We’re going to name her Reese Elizabeth.
We had a good trip to D.C. I’ll post pictures from that soon.
Good day!
Ruby and stuff.
April 17, 2008
Ruby is now 5 1/2 months old.
I am 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant.
There are 6 days left until we find out the sex of our bambino.
We’re having a yard sale on Saturday. I love yard sales! Sunday we’ll be driving to Washington D.C. Tim has training for his new job, and I’m tagging along. We’ll be back Wednesday night.
That really is all that’s going on. Sorry for such a boring post. I’ll include a picture of Ruby to make it better
